Join STEM Space for a week of hands-on robotics at Mount St. Joseph High School! Students will build and program LEGO-style robots, tackle engineering challenges, and work as a team to complete missions. Throughout the week, campers will learn how sensors, motors, and code work together while developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Whether it's their first time with robotics or they're looking to level up, students will have a blast building, testing, and refining their creations.

FIRST Lego League Robotics Workshop
4th-8th Grade

Get hands-on with LEGO robotics! Students will use LEGO Mindstorm kits to build and program robots that complete missions, solve challenges, and navigate obstacles. Using the same tools and technology as FIRST LEGO League teams, this workshop is perfect for students curious about competitive robotics or just looking to dive deeper into building and programming. With a 1:1 student-to-robot ratio and only 6 spots available, every student gets plenty of time to build, program, and experiment.

Skylab Workshop
4th-8th Grade 

Picture

Explore real-world space research! Students will learn how suborbital science works, then design, build, and test components of a high-altitude balloon payload. Along the way, they'll get to see, discuss, and even touch real payloads that have flown miles above the ground. The week culminates in a tethered balloon flight. Led by instructors with real payload experience, this small-group workshop offers a rare hands-on opportunity. Only 6 spots available.
